There has never been dangduting from year start to date as every member of the consociation is skint or suffering aches and pains due to tight budget and weary bodies. Every one has aged and lost the wherewithal to flirt if only a song to dance and a tune to sing ala karaoke and to spend a late night too: taxes much on the entire physique the next day. Or could there be more motivation to exult the odd evening but to what avail? If to be merry for a while and to reminisce a week later,yet,the narrative of what was a while ago will be entirely lost in the scheme of things afterwards. Meaning dangdut has no significance ever and even less to bu[ld dreams and manufacture hopes of universal good and its philosophy lasts only in that it be allowed its philosophy. Or that only a crazy dangdut lover will want to philosophize on a dangdut existence that ne'er does exist,an existentialist that finds extremely hard to question his dangdut existence. And a discipline or a science or an art that be anachronistic to a big nought! However dangdut in its origin locale gets to be that very anachronism that in fact flourishes into a misplacement that bears its own;that it becomes sensual and erotic in its gyrating buttocks and sexy dresses where singers cum dancers belly dances the quaint tone into a spectacle one would like to totally avoid if only a few diehard dangdut enthusiasts still hold enamored. Or lovers of old dangdut but all the more toothless and aging...but still have this strange love of dangdut eternal. Come to think of it,dangdut's actually ridiculous but not raga - its original or that dangdut is derived from, and where raga retains its identity and evolution but dangdut just evolves not. A dangdutist can never be an existentialist but perfectly mad!
