Tea For Two

Wale - wale was lost for words, the total damages for the dangdut evening goes way past the ceiling or the budgeted amount by about one hundred ringgit and a tad more. Since everybody had chipped in and with equal sum - how come the costs exceeded such? Nothing much to opt for but to ask a few of the dangdut consociation members to chip in more and Mikey was magnanimous enough to comply. Allen simply kept quiet and Zack literally dig into his pockets and even turning them inside out just to find the extra coins if any. To peruse over the bills was quite untoward especially in front of the girls so Wale wale kept the receipts to look over later and very much at the risk of the better half discovering them. However he did keep the little documents somewhere very secure before scrutinizing every bit the day after. After observing the small texts and wondering much that I called him. Immediately he queried whether exotic tea plants can be grown in Long Island? I answered perhaps so and in greenhouses like grass grown in disused and dilapidated containers further north. But grass is heavily priced and that is why they are grown surreptitiously but tea can never be outlawed and fetching astronomical figures and at Long island or that they can be so exclusive! No one knows? Deborah ordered three and the bill came to 150 ringgit, mentioned,Wale - wale. Well I heard she said tea to the waitress but I thought it was teh tarik or just hot tea I answered. We were both at lost since we don't drink and literally dry at every aspect of being tipsy or slightly inebriated. Having his smartphone so near that he googled the such cuppa. It was a special cocktail and even potent if consumed one too many. Strange but Deborah must have inquired about ordering her drinks from Allen and he must have said yes but how to refuse a girl and a pretty one at that. Even Wale wale and myself would have been suckered. She sat with Allen the entire length of the evening and we just let it be at that because we observed Allen's grinning incessantly beside her but he must at least volunteered to top up a bit more the entire costs due to that special tea. Howsoever he is a teetotaler and could have only heard - like me - the 'tea' word when Deborah asked. The bloody Tea! Hohoho!
