KU LI TO THE FORE

Whenever the ameno boys has something to say about Ku Li, he has a fast answer ready and they in turn did not equally retort back but remained silent hoping that the brief exchange of ‘light’ banter did not happen in the first place. For they just could not give a responsible and justifiable answer each time, example being the suggestion that Ku Li not make any further pronouncements on the Kelantan oil royalty issue his response was that he is only reiterating upon The Late Tun Razak’s wishes of giving some mineral dues to the Malay Belt states and of course The Late Tun’s wishes also that no differing political philosophies be the conspicuous reason not to. And he keeps on uttering the epithets of the ruling party as Umno Baru and not Umno per se and that people knows very well that the current one is actually not the like previous one. The current consociation is a product of some form of after effects and as a result of a judicial ruling that strikes off the old party from existing. The new one came about but must have an appendage to its name yet deleted- the attachment that was and for some mysterious reasons. By and large the Tengku is saying that Umno is not the concurrent party since the old one has been struck off the list and the new association is TDM’s and none more than that. He also elaborates on the fact that both Tunku and Tun Hussein passed on outside the Umno Baru.
Ku Li only aspires to be number one and not two or three but still wants or rather enigmatically speaking- being so- to go up with Umno however so the party or the majority members do not want to revolutionize for the better and in consonant with changing modes and times. But knowing very well the liquidness of civic movements particularly post sea changes, The Tengku did not explain further upon his disposition as regards the not too distant future and it is guessed by quite anyone that he might take over things should Anwar be forcibly incarcerated.
Consistent all the way through his seventy odd sun years of age and not bending either way Ku Li has the charisma and experience to hold at helm the moving forward of this beloved motherland and no other destination rather than more meaningful democracy and economic soundness- dead ahead. Full Speed Ahead YTM Tengku.
