It was about 10.30pm that Wale wale called,asking whether I had arrived at Extravaganza - the dangdut joint,I replied I cannot go as I have been quite under the weather since late afternoon and was in fact feeling slightly drowsy when he rang. I inquired about Mikey and Lenny or whether that they too have arrived and waiting for him.He said he was only about to go out and added that they would be a bit late. The fact was wale wale waited for a good 45 minutes when they appeared outside the karaoke chamber wale wale had earlier booked. Quite of course Wendy was inside with him and they had sung duets together for a near long hour that wale wale was getting worried that Mikey was not coming since he was the one who arranged for the dangdut niteout along with his willingness to become the Towkay or the banker for the occasion.
      Lenny gestured upon entering that the room that 5 girls will be joining and already on the way. Wale wale managed to inquire as to where they were from and also how that Lenny got to know them. Lenny answered he befriended the Ladies in extravaganza itself when he saw them always chilling inside especially during weekends. What do they do quipped wale wale. They are professionals retorted Lenny. Wale wale stopped asking but the thought did come to mind, "professionals in what"?.
      20 minutes later the girls arrived,relatively young ladies consisting of ages from late twenties to early thirties,presentable in not being glitzy but totally relaxed in jeans and loose fitting T shirts. None sported the stunning look but all were rather attractive by virtue of them being young and laid back. They were quite reserved in disposition, plus, communicating exclusively, in thickly accented murmurings that wale wale found difficult to discern. It was a lengthy ten minutes later that Lenny introduced them as Traditional Masseuses from a nearby open concept massage parlor. And all of them specialized in Traditional Balinese and Thai Massages with some - more towards either. Good to massage chipped Lenny, "my body feels light only after a short session" he continued.
      Giving a wink at wale wale, Lenny said he has their numbers to call should he like a traditional massage. Wale wale smiled back but in his mind he was thinking of Pak or Uncle Safar that I used to mention and his brand of exquisite massage that the uncle called - machine gun massage - where he will guarantee one's gun will dutifully fire rounds after rounds without failing its sturdiness. Better to go for the machine gun massage and machine gunned the girls if not satisfied with their work, wale wale quietly laughed to himself.
      It was right about then that Mikey exclaimed that Wendy has already a boyfriend and doing that: direct in her face. Much surprised but only giving a slightly sheepish look but wale wale just laughed and answered that it could be none or anybody's business should Wendy has or has not a beau since its her life to live and her profession that can only be company even though for a short period of time that she stationed herself in a karaoke room, and, merely - to entertain patrons - to sing,dance,make merry and banter a bit. Wale wale reminded that the last time that he was in extravaganza was 6 long months ago and whatever that happened in between was of no consequence to him and to anybody associated or not. Meaning Wendy is a close buddy to sing along,dance a bit and to exchange light banter with and nothing more and nothing less. Mikey guffawed boisterously: being always the naughty and provocative fellow!
     However,Wendy is a nice person and truly wonderful to be with, and ever a friend to confide and talk. If she has a fiancee -and- still a hostess and not quitting, wale wale and I will always be booking her for dangdut company. On the other hand, there was one busty traditional massage girl that both Mikey and Wale wale liked. And Zul too, conjectured wale wale. Will want a traditional massage soon! Or that anybody care to join? Hohohohohohoho!
